Untitled

Well, here's a poem I wrote this moring in 3rd period. I should've been annotating a text but no, I was writing a short poem on the faults of humankind. For your reading pleasure....

      People of the human race
Tend to lie and lose their face
Only when the lies are gone
Can we realize what is wrong
We hide away from the truth
Lies, they are our living proof
Of the mask we use, the deciet,
And the subtle hints of defeat.

Dancing With Death

Flare sighed and put down the latest issue of Immortal Teen. Her long legs were starting to get stiff, so she shifted position so her legs were hanging over the arm of her throne. She groaned. Having a throne made out of real human bones was stylish and impressive and very enviable, but it was terribly lacking in the comfort department. This position wasn’t any better, so Flare just stood and paced. Automatically, she felt in her sleeve for her Immortalized Steele dagger.

Dancing With Death (Prologue)

Thousands upon thousands of years ago, when the world was new, there was a godly ruler of everything. The Queen of the Earth, the King of the Sky, and the rulers of plants, animals, and waters all ruled their respective domains. Then, the very clever Queen of the Animals derived the race of Man from troops of all other animals. Intelligence of cat, build of ape, tongue of god… Man was a brilliant creation, for it could come up with its own ideas, unlike that of any animal before it and very much like the gods themselves.
