Hey!! Welcome to the blog!

This is where, as of now, all my unread stories will finally see the light! I'll post stories as I think of them, so keep your eyes open.

Untitled

Well, here's a poem I wrote this moring in 3rd period. I should've been annotating a text but no, I was writing a short poem on the faults of humankind. For your reading pleasure....

      People of the human race
Tend to lie and lose their face
Only when the lies are gone
Can we realize what is wrong
We hide away from the truth
Lies, they are our living proof
Of the mask we use, the deciet,
And the subtle hints of defeat.

Dancing With Death

Flare sighed and put down the latest issue of Immortal Teen. Her long legs were starting to get stiff, so she shifted position so her legs were hanging over the arm of her throne. She groaned. Having a throne made out of real human bones was stylish and impressive and very enviable, but it was terribly lacking in the comfort department. This position wasn’t any better, so Flare just stood and paced. Automatically, she felt in her sleeve for her Immortalized Steele dagger.

Dancing With Death (Prologue)

Thousands upon thousands of years ago, when the world was new, there was a godly ruler of everything. The Queen of the Earth, the King of the Sky, and the rulers of plants, animals, and waters all ruled their respective domains. Then, the very clever Queen of the Animals derived the race of Man from troops of all other animals. Intelligence of cat, build of ape, tongue of god… Man was a brilliant creation, for it could come up with its own ideas, unlike that of any animal before it and very much like the gods themselves.

Terrified

Okay, it's not a story; it's a song I wrote, but I wanted to put it up here. Here goes.

Terrified by Julia Hodges

I used to be afraid
Of how people would see me
Used to think that they watched me
Used to think that they judged me
Always had to look perfect
So they wouldn't stare
Yeah.

Always embarrased by my family and friends
Used to think the judging would never end
But then I found the truth finally
The only one judging me... was me.

There's no need to be terrified
No one's juding you because you're fine
If you could see through your own eyes,
Then you will start to realize
That there's no need to be
There's no need to be
There's no need to be
Terrified.

I used to be afraid
Of the other girls around
Cuz they always beat me
And tried to put me down
But then I found some true friends
And it was a happy end

Now I understand just who I am
And now I know just where I stand
So now I'm not afraid no no no
And I just want to go go go
Because now I know oh oh oh

That there's no need to be terrified
No one's judging you because you're fine
If you could see through your own eyes,
Then you will start to realize
That there's no need to be
There's no need to be
There's no need to be...

If they could see through your eyes,
They would start to realize
That you are terrified
But there's no need to be
No, there's no need to be
There is no need to be
Terrified.

Soo... yeah. That's my song about loving yourself and all that fun happy stuff.

New Story Guys- Tell Me What You Think!

I don’t remember my real name. I can only remember the one They gave me, and I am sure it isn’t my real name. Ember just doesn’t sound right. That is what my mistress calls me. My friends River, Stone, and Breeze all live Here. I can’t really say where Here is because I honestly do not know myself. All I know is that my friends and I all serve under The Rulers. The Fire Queen, the Earth King, the Water Queen, and the Air King- one for each of the four elements. They are The Rulers of the universe. The Fire Queen is my mistress.
Here is a very interesting place. It looks like a normal residential neighborhood, with a little cul-de-sac-thing and houses around it. The thing is, there are only one street and only five houses- one for each of The Rulers and one for us kids, the “Chosen Ones”. The house in the middle is shared by all us Chosen Ones. I think there are twenty of us. Yeah, there must be twenty because we are all trained under our masters and mistresses, and we’re split up evenly, and there are five of us in my class, including me.
Our house has four floors I think, give or take. It changes daily. It has probably hundreds upon thousands of rooms that make themselves available based upon what a particular person is looking for, or not looking for, sometimes. It looks small from the outside, but don’t be fooled. Like I said, lots of rooms. The house itself is painted a homey deep red with blue-gray trimming and shutters, and a dark brown porch.
Now that I think about it, I don’t actually know what we were “chosen” for. Stone was Here before I; maybe he knows. I’ll have to ask him when his lessons are over. In the meantime, I’ll be vain and brush and re-brush my carrot-colored hair. Maybe it will impress him. Oh my Gods, is he cute!

Let me know if you want me to continue this one.
Thx,
   me
